Input on this property

A little more write up on what you got there might help. Also, are you sure the borders are right or are you ballparking it. The boundrys you show cut crop fields in half and some possible stand sites on corners etc on good crop fields?

Looking at that now, I got the bottom border wrong. It should be just south of that clearing and above that finger to the bottom left. And on the top right, it does indeed cut off at the top of that field. But exactly halfway it cuts straight back down to where I have the line drawn. Man I suck at this! Thanks for noticing that, lol.

Rob go to the Iowa Geographic Map Server @ http://ortho.gis.iastate.edu/and zoom into the property with the 2006 orthophotos. Once you have the general lay of the land centered, switch to 24K Topographic Maps. This will show where the hills and valleys are. Then take a walk soon to find the heavily used trails. Once you know where they are travelling, spend a weekend glassing the trails from a safe distance. Now you have an idea where to set your stands. Good Luck.

At the bottom (south?) toward the left side there is a pretty decent funnel where a field stretches up from the south to your property line, and on the subject property there is that little field that stretches down close to it. Looks like a creek bottom there too, probably all the deer funnel across there in less than 100 yards...
