Let me tell you without any doubt YES!
And it is almost hilarious when you useit really early while the general population of fawns are still in spots.You have toblow on it so it appearsa fawn is being attacked by a predator. Screaming is abetter description. Any doe in the area will come running in like they are ready to run you down. I mean spooky run you down. Weused to get behind trees before bowseason and the deer would run within five feet of us and stop at about ten yardslooking for the fawn. Then when they didn't see them, they would turn tail and haul it.I need to add the fawn scream to the wav files.

[/ quote]an alert deer is easier to shoot than no deer. I like to give thefawn bleat a try late in the morning right before getting down from my standespeicially if I am not seeing anything.never know just might bring one in and get a shot off.

Dr Andy, realize you are making the sound of a fawn in trouble. Deadly trouble. If they were smart, which they were , they ran. You want to call the does coming to SAVE or Protect that fawn you are impersonating. A fawn bleat should be blown loud as a DISTRESS call. Not a "I'm lost come here call!"
