It won't damage the string but it will put some wear on the serving. Personally I don't like a loop I just can't bring myself to trust them.

One thing to all you string shooters. Please try this

Pull a nock off your arrow and put it on your string like you are going to shoot a arrow. Draw the bow and look at the position of the nock. It will be pointing almost straight down. Do you thing this will cause any change in arrow flight when released?

With a loop on the nock will be pointing right at your rest.

Give it a try and make your own call on weather it affects your shot.

i did the same thing but it was early in the summer, so i had time. I had to move my peep, my kisser button, and my sights, it really does change everything, but im glad i did it, my arrows have no porpuising and all...i switched releases to a scott wildcat to make up the difference in draw length... so there is a lot more to it than just putting on a string loop.... good luck this season...

No Loop Here..Used to shoot a loop...Learned I like it better without!
