I shoot the pse whitetail extreme and really like it. First season w/ it and have got 2 does so far. To me it is a very quiet and fast bow. Previously i had the nova and it treated me good as well. I'd say go ahead and buy it, you shouldn't be upset.

I have a Bruin, there is a lot of hand shock that can be corrected with an sts, but it is real easy to pull and shoot. As far as a sting breaking, if you bought it from a dealer, PSE will replace it. To say PSE is bad because of it well that would be like saying all chevys suck because you had a problem with one. These are massed produced and all co. are going to have a few that get problems. As for whether or not to buy the bow.
Well at that price you better jump on it before its gone.

PSE has the best warranty on the market when it comes to archey equipment.
You are correct on that. When I was shopping for my new bow this spring, I shot EVERYTHING, I was leaning toward a Mathews Switchback UNTIL I shot the PSE Firestorm X. It has a superbly smooth drawcycle at 70#, 80% let off, and is as quiet as anything else. I was in love, but I was sold when the Pro told me about his dealings with the various companies warranty service, PSE was flat out the best.

I love my Firestorm X. I have yet to kill with it, my season only started on the 22nd, but I have a feeling tomorrow there will be blood on my arrow!

For $200, i dont care what anyone says, thats a great deal. PSE makes a great bow and you wont be dissapointed if you take this offer.
