What do you do that helps you to bear the long hours out in the deer woods?

seriously, I usually day dream, the adrenalin of bein in the stand is usually enough to keep me frosty

i think about my past hunts that when good,somedays go by fast just because whats happening,you dont even have to see deer

I pass the time by telling myself that the big buck I'm looking for could come by litterally, at any time!I do all day hunts only, during the rut!;)

i do something odd in the stand to pass the time i ya thats right when i am on a hunt i hunt all the time lol


i had a friend that used the time to balance hischeck book i think e did it in the stand because it made him feel better about all them checks that had hunting marked in the memo spot

another played like to play cards

and i once took my cabales book with me

I text on my cell phone but i make sure its either on vibrate or silent lol. Or else mentioned above day dream or take a nap..

Well if your up in a comfy and cozy Summit Goliath just tie a string on the end of you toe and encircle the areabefore heading up.
