acquiring land
#1
Here's the deal. I bought a plot book and found this spot where no one has hunted for a long time. it must be a cabin property orsomthing but theres no cabin on it.its all oaks. i asked some locals and they don't know anything about this piece of land either. It says a name in the plot book but i tired yahoo peaple search and came up empty. anywhere else i can try to find out where i can find a phone number so i can contact this person???

Normaly a Plat map has a number then references over to the owner,or if its a spacific Plat map for a small area it will have owners name over the property....Courthouse is just as easy...

definitely the courthouse. they should be able to give you the address of the owner.
that's a good way of looking for land to hunt. I always intended to do that but never followed through.
