What kind of broadheads are they?It depends on what kind of target also,I can shoot muzzy's into my morrel broadhead target and they don't get dull at all,I actually shot a doe last year with the same blades I practice with and it still passed thru while going through ribs on both sides!!!but make sure that they are sharp you would'nt want to miss the deer of a lifetime because of dull broadheads.
You are giving horrible advice, my friend .....noone should EVER shoot with anything but razor sharp heads! Just because you killed a deer with less, doesn't make it ok ... my nephew killed a deer with a field tip ... grabbed the wrong arrow in the dark, that doesn't make it ok ....
I totally agree Preacher!!!!

You got lucky!! Never shoot a used Broadhead at any game, NEVER, NEVER, NEVER!!!!!
If you are only changing blades, you are shooting the same broadhead smartass!

Drizz ... do yourself ......check that .... do the deer a favor and take one of those broadheads and run a rubberband lightly ov er it ... you will see the rubberband flex ..... a new blade would cut it ...... there is NO WAY those blades you are hunting with are razor sharp if you have shot them into a target ... no way!

Well I just did rub a rubber band over the ones I shot into the target today'and they cut instantly!By the way I'm not hunting rubber bands.

Forgive me ....I didn't realize you would've had a hard timewith the rubberband deal .... it simulates arterial and vein walls .... yaknow, the thingys that your broadhead cut ...... there is not anyone that knows anything about hunting that would reccommend shooting with anything but ultra sharp blades....ones that have NEVER been fired into anything without resharpening or replacing them ....

Drizz.....Seriously....just always use the new broadhead (at least blades) thing as a rule. You'll never go wrong, that way. Everyone here is just trying to help you....and do the right thing in the eyes of the game.

Nobody's jumping on you....just making a suggestion that's pretty widely accepted.

Good luck!

Drizz, I got to go with Preacher, GMMAT and everyone against your practice.....it's not hard to change blades right?

So don't shoot your new blades into a target, put in used blades, shoot it and the swap them out for new.

One shot rule! A single shot of a broadhead renders them useless for hunting unless the blades are changed or sharpened.

i agree ,thats why i use Magnus 2 blades stingers,i can shoot them at a target bag, then run a BH sharpener over them, scary sharp again................:D

It can't be stated enough....

DO NOT REUSE BLADES THAT HAVE BEEN SHOT INTOA TARGETTO HUNT WITH! Unless they can be resharpened to razor sharpness again.
