RE: How many deer do you harvest in one season?

i wont some when will you take another lol i am hungray

i plan to take as many as i can which in my county is 4 one buck and three does i will more then likely take 4 does if i can i wont to eat only deer meat so i am not eating all the crap at the store and some chicken and fish

ORIGINAL: Jellio

We can legal take 5 but I don't need that many so I'm shooting for 1 buck (which I've already shot) and 2 more does. If I can find someone that wants some meat I'll take more.

SteveB,I am pretty sure everyone knew what I meant!
If it pumps you up to criticize someone's choice of words, have at it!
Wasn't singling you out at all - most replies where using theword as well. Did intend to be critical of the word, but not other hunters.
Just one of those things that bother me more then it should, but words can give the wrong meaning.
Sometines a fine line between offering an opinion and critism - personal critiscm was not my intent.

I average 6 deer each year - usually 2 bucks and 4 does - all taken by bow. We fill the freezer with 4 of them and give the rest to friends that request them. I won't shoot a deer if I don't have a home for the meat.
