My wife....my son and I ate almost all of 3 deer, this year. We also gave some of those 3 to friends.

I have a family of 14 that I donate venison to....and I don't think they could eat 15 deer. That's a lot of meat.

Our season runs from Aug. 15th --Jan1st and we don't have any limits.

The past 5 seasons I have killed at least 1 with my Gun and killed 1 with my Bow! Before that is was one here and there!

One of the units I hunt in PA I can get unlimited doe permits. Generally I get 5-7 doe tags spread over 2-3 units. This year I have 7 doe tags plus a buck tag for PA. The most I've ever gotten was 6 deer total. Over the last several years I get 3-6 a year.

Bout 5 a year for me

I shot a buck and a doe last year. I'm going for 5 this year, 2 bucks and 3 does and will give 4 away and keep one for the freezer.

3 last year, 2 bucks 1 doe. 5 is the legal limit 2 bucks 3 doe. I hope for 3 does 1 buck and 1 mulie buck. If whitetail and mulies are counted separately,(they are), I can legally kill 7.

Last year I got 3 with my bow (2 bucks and 1 doe), but since we still have some venison in the freezer I'll probably just get two this year. My goal is 2 does with my bow unless a wall hanger comes by.

I only shoot what I can eat. And shot opportunities are hard to come by where I hunt so I could easily get skunked. Last year I had 4 deer within bow range all season, and I killed three of them.

Limit in VA is six. Three bucks/three doe. I usually fill all three doe tags and one buck tag probably every other year. A child under the age of twelve can shoot a doe any day of the season and not use a tag. Two of my four kids are able to shoot, so I'm thinking five doe and one buck. That's my goal.

If I get a doe early then I go for 2,havent seen Mr Big yet(180 or better),so I happy wit keeping the heard in check by takeing out the doe's.None of the bucks that come thru my area have mass,their are 4 point 5 point that come trhu but they are small in mass......so Iam happy takeing doe's.....
