I don't get carried away. I usually whack a couple for meat and then just hunt. I've shot as few as one with the bow and as many as 7. I normally won't shoot anything unless it's bigger than the last one after 3 or so.

I like to get four, which would be tagging out in NY, as my entire family loves venison.... , but most of the time here, lean bag limits, season length, and restictions on my time, it's usually 2 or 3 for me ...

I usually harvest one less than the limit, because I hold on to one tag waiting for the "biggun" until the very last minute of daylight at the end of the season. Last year the limit was three, so I harvested two. The limit is back up to four this year in Arkansas, so I will harvest at least three if the opportunity presents itself. The meat never goes to waste in my house.

the opening day of gun season the year my dad passed away i killed 5,i got a nice 8 point and buuton buck in the morning hunting a cut cornfield,went that evening justb to go with my uncle and we hunted at his cabin on the driftwood river and killed 3 does,you talkn about an awesome day!!!!!!!!!!!

A typical year if there is such a thing is three.With the in state and out of statetags I have this year I could legally harvest seven.I never make any assumptions I just hunt as hard as I can with as much time as I have to devote toit and whatever happens happens.

i got 5 tags for PA. 1 buck and 4 does. i should fill all of them--I am going to get laid off soon._so i get paid to hunt sort of. I give a lot of it away but i generally like to keep two deer
