The ups and downs matures us as Bowhunters! We need to learn from every situation while in the woods, wether it on a kill or not! Good luck for the rest of your season! I'm right there with GMMAT, my 1st opening day deer and the Coyotes eat it in less than 2 hours![:@]

Other than the feeling of success in the woods..... One of the experiences I enjoy the most is when I think I KNOW what is going to happen (what the deer is going to do, come from, act, etc) and it (the deer)slaps me back into reality by doing something completely different than I expected

I believe this keeps me from falling into a rut doing the same things over and over again. Gotta keep the stand and stand setup tactics fresh..... but above allkeep the mindfresh.....I believe this helps with what ever success I achieve.
