Gross deals with every scorable point. Net is more a measure of symmetry, deductions are taken for extra points or say a G2 on one side is 6" but the other G2 is 4".

Is that's all the record is for a bow? I thought a 185 was pulled out of Md right near one of my little woods. Well it's a nice looking buck any how. I know one of my up county spots has a few of them running around. Only can wish one will walk by in bow range.

IowaBob.... yes it's 185 or whatever and it's big, but considering all the deer that are killed in Maryland every year... to have this is THE BIGGEST doesn't really show a herd of macho bucks. There will be several killed in Iowa this year that beat this easily. This is the biggest EVER or second.

One thing to consider is Iowa is 10 times bigger then MD.For the size of the state I think we do pretty good.Were not the midwest but if we had the regulations we could be very easily.I'm proud of the cecil county boy, thats were I have lived basically my whole life.He made a good shot on it and sounds like a good kid to me.
