RE: What Was Your First Bow?...
Bear Whitetail Hunter followed by the Bear Kodiak Magnum. The first is long gone but the Kodiak is what my son LOVES for bowfishing.

RE: What Was Your First Bow?...
High Country, Brute Force, This was a fine bow until one limb cracked, but high country replaced it.

RE: What Was Your First Bow?...
The first bow I learned to shoot on was an old recurve. It was my grandfathers so I guess technically I don't consider it MY first bow. The first bow that I ever owned was a Fred Bear Black Bear. 29" draw and could be set between 30-50lbs I believe. It is still in good shape and shoots well. I just had it out last week and put about 50 shots on it. Someday I hope my son will use it when he's old enough.

RE: What Was Your First Bow?...
Browning Nomad recurve was my first bow.
Then I got one of those old Bear compounds. Boy did I hate that thing. Pretty much killed my interest in archery/bowhunting until I went to college. Then I got a JVA Astro bow. (and JVA went out of business) Then several years later I got a XI Demon. (then XI went out of business) Last Spring I got a Bowtech Equalizer. (so far Bowtech seems okay.) ;) |
RE: What Was Your First Bow?...
Mine was a 30" longbow with no shelf.
