Had an old recurve when I was in High School......but MY first real bow (remember....I'm a newbie;)) was a 2005 Mathews SB. My son shoots that bow, now.

[/align]Ben Pearson Spoiler. I just started hunting with a compound bow 3 years ago. I hunted with a crossbow for three years before that. It is a Tenpoint Titan.

PSE Fire flight - what a great bow.

Absolutely the most forgiving bow I ever owned.

Had one & shot 31" 2512's w/125gr Thunderheads 72# @ 212fps

You could shoot that bow on a 45 degree angle

Bounce the string off your arm

Shoot fingers or release and still hit pretty close to your spot.

Got my first Robin Hood with it.

Went on a sheep hunt with my new Jennings Carbon Extreme (Bad ass bow in its day).

Took the FireFlite as a back up.

Push came to shove when it came time to climb the mountain I took the Fire flight.

I just didn't trust that state of the art Carbon Extreme - too hi-tec, too cranky.

Damn I loved that old bow.

Mine was a bear whitetail. I shot it in 1982. It felt like junk. But my next one was a browning excellerator plus. I really liked that bow.

Mine was a bear whitetail legend. 30" 70#. I was 16 and didn't have a clue that my draw length was on ly 27.5". I shot fingers and muzzy 125 grain 4 blade broadheads. easton gamegetter arrows. My next bow was a pse beast 4x4 and last year i stepped up to a bowtech tribute.

My first bow was a Golden Eagle Sparrowhawk 29" 50#.
That thing was the most unforgiving POS i have ever owned, but i loved it.
Or maybe it was because i knew nothing of arrow spining or bow tuning!!!:D
