I am curious how many doe and buck tags your state gives you when you buy your license?

Virginia gives us a lot, thats all I know, I think something like 4 or 5 either sex then 2 or 3 antelered.

one antlered tag. upto 2 antlerless tags...first come first serve with an allocation and dates....so you send for one then 2 weeks later you can send for a 2nd...IF that unit has them left...

special reg areas you can buy them all if you wish...

PA gives one buck and allows you to apply for numerous does...the number of does depends on the wildlife management unit you wish to hunt. I have friends in other management units that have trouble getting one doe tag. I usually get can get two if I want.

In Pa you can kill one buck in a season, period. In my area of SE Pa (special regs counties) WMU 5-D, you can kill unlimited antlerless deer. One $6 tag for each deer.

One bow/muzzleloader either sex

Doe tag for regular season if you're lucky enough to draw one.... I did this year(It can only be used in the zone drawn for) It can be used the last few days of bow in Southern Tier zones or during regular firearm season)

In MN you get 1 buck tag and depending on what area you hunt you get 1-4 bonus tags. The area I hunted last year you could buy 4 additional tags , now this year I can only get 1 bonus tag. [:'(]

My archery tag is good for 2 deer/ any sex, and 2 turkey. I can buy as many antlerless tags as I want.

In Maryland for each of the seasons you are alotted 2 buck tags and 10 anterless tags. You have to take two anterless deer before you can take a second buck. Not to mention that you need to purchase a bonus buck stamp after you take your first buck.

So all in all, you have the opportunity to bag 36 deer total from bow, shotgun and muzzleloader combined.
