but what if you get one of those really cool days, thats been happening here in Arkansas we get really cool days
Cool until this heat wave has come through, but it's already seeming cooler than usual for this time of year.

Still, unless I'm in a comfy box stand, I don't bother staying all day. I can't sit still for that long, and if I have to get up and move I figure I might as well do it at camp.

Honestly...You'd be better off saving that all day energy for later in the season when the bucks are up and moving all day long instead of burning yourself out now.

Right now the window of opportunity during the heat of the day is real small IMO.

Swatting skeeters sucks too.

Well, I don't plan to be out all day this early in the season either, but ...... I wentout to my tree stand lastSaturday afternoon at 2 pm and came upondeer apparently feeding in the area. Its just anecdotal, but one never knows.

Early in the season here in Texas it is crazy hot. Though it has not been as bad this year. I tend to sit mornings and evenings until early to mid November when it gets in the 50s to 60s during the middle of the day.

I STAYat my hunting spot all day. I SIT my stand all day sometimes in the pre-rut, and all day in full rut. Other than that, I'll get out of the stand in the morning around 9-11 am depending on the circumstances. I'll get in the stand in the afternoon anywhere from 3-5 pm depending on the circumstances and always get out 30 minutes after legal sundown.

Enjoy your morning and evening hunts now. Build up some stand endurance if you want to stay all day, but wait for the rut. It is tuff to stay all day. Good Luck

I never stay up all day. Actually the only time I hunt in the middle of the afternoon depends on the lunar table. If it's a full moon, especially later in the season, I wont go out till 10 or 11 and then hunt til sundown. From my experience, where I hunt, I can't remember a morning hunt where I saw a deer from sun up til 9 in the morning. The lunar tables and the barometer also play a role in deer movement. Back to the subject, to early to hunt all day anyway...IMO.
