My First Deer with a Bow

My First Deer with a Bow
105 pound doe. Man, was (am) I excited. At about 7:15 or so 3 does were coming down wind from me when I thought they winded me. They turned and ran back towards the road, so I thought they were gone. After 10 minutes they came right back just on a different trail.
I never expected to have any come from that side, I had been paying attention to the other direction. After having drawn the bow for what seemed like 20 minutes (actually only about 2 minutes) The largest gave me a clear shot. She of course ducked and I of course forgot to aim a little low as well as everything else I was supposed to remember (anchor points and trying to remember to breath).
Well she fell in her tracks from what ended up being a spine shot. Not exactly what I was going for but I will take it. When I took the pictures of her I did not clean her up so I will not post them. No need to fuel any fire.
I hope everyone understands everything, cause I am not the best writer around. Math, good. English, Bad.
One more thing, I was using my free G5 striker. I lost it, but the entry was very impressive. I will be buying some this week.
