Went out and checked my trail cam thismorning. I can't believe the G2's on this guy. This is a freak nasty 8 pointer. I hope to see him in daylight hours.

i saw a buck rutted out big time last year spotlightsing he was within arms reach of the car and he looked alot like that thick bases with at elast 15" g2s and then the the other points were like 2" i thought it was a really awsome looking rack perfect type for the wall. hope you get him

To tell you the truth Rob. After moving to IL I really don't choose a "Target buck" anymore. Seems every time I do something bigger appears on camera or I actually see a bigger buckwhile in the field. Don't get me wrong, he is def. a deer that I would like to get a chance at taking. However, my entire season will not revolve around this lone buck. If you know what I mean????

Guys, I seen this buck about 7:00 PM tonight right before dark. I couldn't believe my eyes. It gave me hope that he may show himself in daylight hours come Oct. 1. My blood is boiling. I can't wait. He is tall and very heavy. He may go 150-155 as an 8 pointer. I'm still in shock.
