i would try bass pro shop cabales gander mountain or dick sporting goods

or just ask around i have a reflex excurestion great bow cost about 300 or so for the bow hoyts are great bows if you have the cash

just go for it the worst thing that could happen besides a wounded animal would be you would not get a deer this year but this is my fourth year hunting ad i have not and i am still at it

Jim don't worry about Motown he is just a little cranky because he is waiting for bowseason to start. And I don't care who ya are that is too funny (pecking order). Get em Motown sometimes ya ahve to smack the pups with a paper a time or two to get there attention.

Jim, If i may ask what are your reasons for wanting to start to hunt? Got some buddies that are into it? Just curious. Whatever the reason, its never too late. Just make sure you are confident with your new equiptment before you head out. If it means waiting till week two or three then so be it.
