Buck By his antlers

Doe with a drag rope

Edit: my dad uses a plastic snow sled since he is getting older. IT works great. Well, that or me if I am around.

I usually pull them out by the antlers or use a deer drag that you put on like a back pack and then a rope tied to the deer connects to the middle of my back and then I just walk. Last year I was blessed to hunt with some friends that had a 4-wheeler. That is the way to go.

I carry two sharp knives and freezer bags in my pack. When I leave, my pack is heavy and I've got a cool looking skull in my hands to admire on the way back. Doesn't get that bad, even when I'm in deep.

Lets go Headhunters!

Why do y'all think I'm married -- to a butcher no less!!! His big deer we drug out by the antlers simply because I couldn't get him to let go of the darn things! Does we drag out using the hind legs.

Anyone else notice that this deer has no legs??

I know... it's a mount... but still thought it was pretty funny.
