What if he is talking about his first day that he can go out, which would be on the say 14th of Oct. He removed the corn on the 9th of Sept. is he now good. What if by chase he couldn't/didn't set the time/date on his camera correctly? Just a couple of things to think about before you hang the poor boy. By the way tristate, pick up the dang corn!

We used to call it baiting, now they call it QDM. LOL I watched my vote for Tool of the Year, (The Tecomate Man), David Morris, tonight describing his "Supplemental Feeding Program". Hunting will soon be no better than shooting fish in a barrell if he has his way. It really isn't hunting. It's just like shooting your pet dog.

i thought the pa law had a distance away from bait areas maybe i missed it. but someone mentioned carrying a firearm. this year with the proper permit you can. and i sure as heck will carry mine all year with all the stinking bear encounters ive had and all the meth heads running around in the woods. i think you need a personal defense permit (dont bother getting anything else cause if you slip up and throw a shirt over you gun in the car without this permit you will be in for some fines) with this you can carry it worry free in the car in the woods and pretty much anywhere. i do think its silly though that they allow you to cary it while spotlighting now quite the jump from not allowed at all.

It would be a little more encouraging to me personally if I had some pics of him in the daylight; say 6:45pm-ish, coming out of the woods into the southwest corner of a bean field. Give him some credit bro, he's hasn't made it three or four years by making mistakes... Good luck to you! (And good luck with the corn thing... In DE, baiting is ok on private land so I'm used to seeing it.)

For ALL of you morons who think I am hunting over a "bait pile" in Pennsylvania you are WRONG! The picture(s) of the deer are on the edge of a cornfield that was harvested in the last couple of weeks, the excess corn is scattered on the edges of the cornfield where the tractors had left it. As for being in West Virginia (where baiting is allowed), I do have my teeth, notmarried to my cousin, where shoes and have a football team (WVU) that is ranked #4 in the country.
I either see alot of jealous people that envy West Virginia or alot of people that would like to have a chance at harvesting such a nice buck that the have to resort to name calling and cutting on someones residence.

Also, the reason we position our deer cameras need corn, salt blocks, mineral blocks, etc. is to get pictures of the deer we are hunting in that certain area. What is the difference between planting a food crop and hunting the edge of a cornfield where excess kernels of corn is laying?
