My first bow Whitetail
 

I finally got my first bow whitetail! Its just a doe but I am just as happy.:) She was slighty quartered away at 10 yards and the arrow went right through her liver and lungs. She only went about 50 yards and fell.

CONGRATULATIONS Jenna on your first deer. I'm 48, been huntin with bow/arrow for close to 20 years and I've yet to take a deer...of any kind. So don't put it down by "it's just a doe". Hunting with a bow and arrow takes a lot of courage, skill,talent, and patience. Something that a lot of gun hunters (nothing personal) probably don't have. That is a wonderful accomplishment for a young woman.

Thanks everyone! Yes it is a browning bow 8pt~Bowhunter, a micro adrenaline.45 pound draw weight and the arrow went right through her...i was amazed. I am hoping to get up to 50 pounds in a month or 2.

Sweeet! Just a doe!?!?!? I got my first deer ever period - a yearling doe - and with a bow when I was 30 years old two years back. I was telling everyone and anyone who would listen. You should do the same and have pictures on you to show. Great work. That is awesome!!!!!!!!!!
