If I would have told you guys I would go 2 days in a row (In 2 of my best spots)without seeing a deer....I wonder who would believe me?...lol
It's supposed to be 50deg when I get on stand saturday morning, though.
Relief is in sight.

Fraley:
I honestly have never had tremendous luck with my limited all day sits. One reason is.....I kind of have to pick and choose. I HAVE to go in really early to my best spots (4:30).....and I can't sit 15-1/2 hrs. It's just not in me. My all-day sits last year (just a couple)....I wen tin a 9:00AM and sat the duration. I bump fewer deer, this way going in.
I'll probably utilize two different spots.....and take a break around lunch time. Probably go early morning to 11:00......then go back at about 2:30. I haven't been to the afternoon spot I'm going to since last Nov. (although it's only 200-300 yds from my morning spot.
Edit:
In revisiting my '06 Journal, there were 8 hunts I had last year that yielded 0 sighting.....including 2 in a row in the infant stages of the season. I also had a few "1" deer sighting hunts.
I need acorns to fall
