early morning and afternoon. if the moon is still pretty bright i would maybe try a midday hunt also.

[/align]I can't hunt both times. I have one shot. I have family stuff to do sometime that day[everyday].

I HUNT MATURE PATCH OF WOODS IN INDIANA,HUNT NEAR THE BEST WHITE OAKS YOU CAN,IN MY WOODS THE DEER ALL FUNNELL TO THE BEST CROP OF ACORNS IN THE EVENING SO TRY THE FIRST NIGHT.IN MY PAST HUNTING TRIPS THE BEST TIMES WERE ALWAYS MISTY OVERCAST EVENINGS

But what the others have said,,anytime you can. This will be the 1st opening morning I've (bow)hunted in memory. Usually I'd Golf in the AM hunt in the PM.
