I dont kow where you are from,but in Ohio you have to take a1 day course and then qualify w/ pistol..Pretty easy actually.
If ya really want to get it, I would not go carrying w/o it, cuz if ya get caught you may never be able to get one if you are charged..Ohio just made it legal to carrywhile hunting..Some statesit may still be illegal to carry while hunting..Ohio used to be verystrict about having only one weapon. On public land I will have mine:)

I am taking a Hazardous-Materials class right now and our instructor showed us a video of all of the meth and illegal dumping that is going on in private lands, rivers, and creeks. It is sad that some of these idiots are ruining our beautiful outdoors!
