how do you guys stay scent free? I usually wash my clothes in scent free soap, and wash myself in scent free soap, then spray when i get to the field. What do you guys do with your clothes in between hunts.....how do you keep them scent free??

My best seasons, and test results using my dog, is in an outer layer that isn’t washed continuously in “sport wash”. I make sure that I never sweat in it, always hang in outside in the woods when not in use, unless rain is expected close to a hunt. When I do expect rain and want to wear it soon, I put it in a plastic trash bag filled with leaves and dirt. I also spray the interior with that carbon spray in a bottle. My rubber boots are kept outside, upside down on posts and kept in the shade.
My interior layers are washed in sport wash occasionally, but usually in plain water. Washed in a tub that is kept outside and has never seen soap.
Most important, never sweat in your clothes, and always air-dry outside in the woods.
Seems to work for me, but I’ve been busted from time to time. I do think that it is worth mentioning though, that my worst ever season was when I went all out with scent killer stuff. Scent killer deodorant (now I use speed stick unscented), fresh earth scent in my clothes during storage, scent killer spray on each layer, each time in the woods. Clothes washed in sport wash after each hunt. Man, I smelled like that crap. Open a bottle of any spray that claims to kill human odor and smell it. It may kill human odor, but it has it’s own smell too.
Good luck,
KP

Hey Killer_Primate, don't you freeze your butt off when climbing into your clothes and boots that you keep in the woods? Do you do that in the dead of winter as well?
