Anyone that looks at my posts sees my embedded post is "Take your Dad hunting, you never know when you won't be able to." Found out this morning he is having open heart surgery in the next couple days. Everyone tells me it's common but.....I preach take them!!!!!!! You never Know!

For all of the prayers that have been sent my way, I am more than happy to send a few back. Your dad will be in my prayers. Hoping for a speedy recovery.

I took my Dad on a couple of trips th alast 2 years of his life. You are absolutely right about the memories--I think of him often, and especially when in a stand. God bless you, your Dad, and your whole family.

I hear you, I've never hunting with my dad and it would be a dream come true to do so. I just prayed for him. Enjoy your time together as much as you can.
