Hmm...Monday morning, what to do, what to do. No work today, maybe I'll get all my huntin laundry done and hang out. Got that done, may as well screw on a couple of Slick Tricks and make sure they're shooting where they're suppose to be. Sweet!!! You guys weren't kidding, just like my field tips. I know I shouldn't, this close to the Sat. opener, but what the heck. I'm gonna drive up to my favorite early season white-oak ridge, the one just behind the gravel pit, and the houses. Perfect funnell feeding area. Man I just know that 8 pointer I passed on last year is gonna be a hoss this season. If the acorns are anything like the ones dropping in the yard, it'll be awesome. Deer haven't been bothered all year, and shouldn't be noctournal yet. Lemme just back the truck up a little more. Up and over this little hump and I'll be able to see my beloved oak ridge-----WHAT THE!!!!! WHERE'S ALL THE TREES! What a FREKIN MESS!! Still leaves on the tree tops, must've just cut a few weeks ago. Man, this really stinks. There's the "Site Cooridinator." Well my spots screwed, I may as well ask him if I can get some of these tree tops for fire wood. Take all I want!! Thanks mister, I appreciate it. No need to apoligize about my huntin spot, it's your job man. Hey, Ms. Sharon's woods butt up to this tract. Maybe I'll go see if she's home.... Hi Ms. Sharon, They wiped out my huntin spot just up the road and I was wonderin if... What's that? Deer totally destroyed your garden this year!!
Well I'll tell ya what.. If you'd be kind enough to give me permission I'll do my best to keep them pesky varmits out of your garden. Keep your freezer in venison too! That's great I really appreciate it. Didn't turn out so bad after-all
