Stopped by *****sporting goods to check out the climbing stands. My wife told me to pick one out and that she would buy it for me for my B-Day! Of course it didn't take long to pick one out. Went over and grabbed a summit viper ss and off to the counter I went.

Then Had to stop buy another place on the way home to pick up a ladder stand. I finally got permission to hunt some new timber, from a guy who would never let anyone hunt it. He donated most of his timber to some type of conservation? The only thing they do with that ground is for shot gun season only. It's all hooked together, I have heard people talk of the big deer outin that area, in fact told not to shoot the first big one I see as I will probably be dissapointed as to what else may follow. I am thankful to have a chance!

Thanks for the birthday cheer...Ha! Finally had time this morning to get my ladder stand out on new hunting property. A little fine tuning on the camo around it and trimming a few branches I should be ready to go. About another half hour then spray it all down good and let it sit till opening day!

That is awesome. Happy Birthday and good luck this season. Sounds like my girlfriend last year, we are just looking around at stands and stuff, she asked which one I would want out of all of them. I said if I had the money the Gorilla King Kong..she said happy birthday and told me to pick it up.
