Amen brother
ORIGINAL: Greg / MO Again, just dropping in to say that I'm extremely proud of our veteran members here for discussing issues so diplomatically -- you guys make me proud, as always... Let's make sure we all learn from those examples and not take things to a personal level. |

I BELIEVE THAT SCOUTING WITH CAMERAS IS UNFAIR!If people want to do It does'nt make it right, where is the fair chase in having a camera out in the woods taking pictures of the deer, why not get a camera go sit in the woods and get pics that way! It's because there's no way you could!now please drop the baiting or not subject!

RE: Hunting Over Feeders
i grew up in south dakota, everything i hunted was spot and stalk or still hunted. i never understood why somebody would want to hunt out of a tree stand or over a feeder.(we used to say that hunting out of a tree stand was deer WAITING, not deer HUNTING:eek:) now, i live in central texas and it's clear as a bell to me. in many areas here the terrain simply does not support "my" kind of hunting. there are cedars so thick in some places that a person is hard pressed to even walk through them, let alone do it quietly. makes still hunting pretty difficult, if not impossible. spot and stalk is difficult because its hard to spot something when you can only see for thirty feet in any direction. so while stalking up on mule deer will always be first in my book, this year you're gonna find me up in a tripod or a tree stand probably by my brand new feeder or pig pipe waiting for whitetail and hogs to come by. i guess my point is its pretty hard to judge somebody or say i'd never do that until you live where the other guy does and have to hunt his area. I never thought you'd see me in a stand and look at me now.
