what do you guys think about the 06 bowtech ally, i have an oppritunity to but one and just wanting to know the pro's and con's to the bow, and what better place then here to ask my fellow brother's & sisters....
any info will be greatly appriciated. thank Jim

I agree. I too have an 06 Allegiance and love it. Although since getting a Guardian it has been delegated as my 3D bow. As YooperMike mentioned it is fast and surprisingly quiet. Probably your biggest negative is the fact that it's a used bow which means you'll have no warranty.

Check it for excessive cam lean. There was an issue with it in the '06 Binary cams, not that it can't be overcome but it can be a PITA to tune.

We Bowtech Pro Staffers can run through quite a few new bows over the years... and all of us have got one model in particular that we either regretted letting go of, or at the very least one that was difficult for us to part with at the time. That bow for me? My '06 Bowtech Allegiance. ;)
