Sometimes I don't see a deer, sometimes I can see up to 10 or more. One day I saw six different bucks the first hour, the next day not a deer, the next, several again. It's hunting.

I always thought I hunted some decent areas with solid populations. I'd never expect to see deer every time out. Most days ifI see any at allit's probably 3-5. Then there are days whereI dosee a bunch. Even on field edges, I probably see no morethan 10.

On my property the most I have seen in one sit is 15, but on the average inside the trees is about 3 but i also go without seeing any at all sometimes.
I was hunting with a buddy of mine last year and we counted 19 bucks and 53 doe and about 200 turkey all on one alfalfa field. His dad goes and pours corn out on the ground every morning and every evening and has done this for about 6 years or so. They kill a 150-160 class every year.

I hunt in the Texas Hill Country so I see lots of deer. If I don't see 10+ a day I think something is wrong. Hell if I don't see that many as I drive back to town to eat I feel cheated....

I usually average around 5-10 deer in the woods, and on the edge of the fields I will see 10-15 deer. The most I have seen in one sit was 31 in the early season last year. I was sitting on second crop bean field, 12 of the 31 deer were bucks.
