RE: Coyote, wolf, or????
way to small to be a wolf. I say husky, not all huskies has the markings in the above pic. many huskies look just like wolves, only smaller.

RE: Coyote, wolf, or????
Dog. The ears are a little too small to be a wolf, and it is well-fed as well.

RE: Coyote, wolf, or????
Sure looks like a wolf to me. Way too big boned for a coyote.
Hard to judge a wolf by the color. I've seen them every shade from black to white. |
RE: Coyote, wolf, or????
My vote is for wolf also, that would be one big dog. The legs look shorter than some wolves, and it's feeding good, but could be cornfed now eh?

RE: Coyote, wolf, or????
ORIGINAL: Rob/PA Bowyer ORIGINAL: James Vee 14 votes for Dog, and 5 for coyote? Are you guys serious? It is with out a doubt a timber wolf with a full belly. That one looks like it is in that 80-100 pund range. I see them at least once every 2 weeks. I have pics of one with a radio collar on one of my bear baits from a week ago. Wisconsin has them all over and it is by no means out of the ordinary to see them in the northern half ofWisconsin. RE: Coyote, wolf, or????
I voted wolf but it is my understanding that wolves do not have rear dew claws and it looks like that animal does.
Dogs can get rather large too, one of mine weighs 110lbs and I keep him somewhat slim. |
RE: Coyote, wolf, or????
WOLF!!

RE: Coyote, wolf, or????
Wolf and coyote, you guys crack me up. It's a fricken dog or domesticatedhusky/ wolf hybrid. Not a full fledge wolf. Case closed.:D

RE: Coyote, wolf, or????
ORIGINAL: Grasshopper13 It's also a female and I would expect it to have some younger pups with her by now. I guess they might have been around but not in the picture. |
