RE: Hunting fenced in animals

Thats just it.........

I've always heard that an average deer's "HOME" range is 5 square miles. 1 square mile is = 640 acres.

If you are paying to hunt a 5,000 to 10,000 acre ranch, then I don't think the fence has anything to do with the deer being on the land. Notice I said "fence" not high fenced.

"Canned" hunts to me are the high fence one's that only have 100 acre's or less.

RE: Hunting fenced in animals

I have hunted hogs in these types of places and let me tell you it was not a walk in the park for them.It was a tough walk and stalk hunt, no feeders were used, and I was glad. All the other animals to me seemed some what tame and I would never pay to hunt one of them, deer, elk, ram, etc.
Just my 2 cents.

PS. Although like I said it was a tough walk and stalk hunt, I would not do it again.Too many free places to hunt hogs in this country.
