Washing Hunting Clothes

RE: Washing Hunting Clothes
Thanks guys, I will practice all of these techniques for staying scent free. I have been winded a couple of times in the past and I have to tell ya it makes me sick to my stomach when that happens. I think i biggest problem is getting into a hurry when going to my stand and causing myself to start sweating. O well, if it were easy we all would be experts. Thanks agian

RE: Washing Hunting Clothes
Like most everyone else I wash my hunting duds with the hunting detergents and place them in a plastic tub with fresh earth scent wafers. I have a tub for my clothes and one for my boots; mild weather boots, cold weather boots, extremely cold weather boots and rubber boots. Which boots I wear depend on the weather. The hunting clothes stay in my covered truck bed in the tubs all year long. I place a large plastic bag over the clothes in the tub and tuck it in around them to help hold in the scent before snapping the lid tight. They smell like I just dug them up when I first put them on. I still spray down good when leaving the truck and again when I get on stand. I really like Deer Dander, too and usually spray that on when I get up in my stand.
