Bow hunting seems like a lot of fun and it really seems like the more logical way to go (longer, sooner season). So how much would it cost to completely start from scratch to bow hunt? Like bow, arrows, quiver etc....
Thanks much

i just bought a new bow(bowtech commander)with a quiver, sight, rest,12 arrows, and rage broadheads and it cost me around $950 so i would say around $800-$1000 to get a new bow and "all the fixin's".

1K is for all the mid to high end stuff. There are alot of beginner stuff out there. If you know your draw length and weight, you cant go wrong getting a bow through www.huntersfriend.com they send you everything but your liscense to hunt. LOL! Good deals on some bows there.

if you're just starting i would suggest not spending the big money just yet. try it out see if you like it first.if you wanna upgrade later retire the bow to one of your friends and introduce someone else to the sport.
