I know this is the bow forum but there are a lot of deer hunters here. I was wondering if deer eat pears? I think Im gonna put some out anyways just to see but any input would be appreciated.

Hey Buck, yes deer absolutely love pears here in north Florida. In fact, I have a tree in my yard and I pick them and carry them to the woods where I hunt. Unfortunately, the bears love them too. For those who don't know it, we are absolutely infested with bears here, but the Florida Fish and Wildlife Commission in their infinite wisdom, refuses to open a hunting season. We have many more bear-car collisions here than deer.

yes ,they love them. my brother inlaw had a pear tree at his previous house. the deer couldnt get enough of them.

yes, My father lives out in the country. No timber for miles. When the corn is up I have seen two fawns come out of the corn to eat some ofthe pears that were on the ground.
