RE: Rage Broadheads
Say, What about the 3 Blade one's ??? has anyone used any of those? I just bought some to try the practice heads do fly awesome, but also I heard that if your shooting over 65lbs to put on 2 o-rings?? Has any one do this or ever hear of it? I don't think it would affect the amount of force to open the blades would it?

RE: Rage Broadheads
I agree with Rob watch when you put them in your quiver do not force them in you will break the O-Ring!

[/align]I am shooting Montecs this year as well. Snypers are going to be hard to get very soon and I have NOOOOO faith in the Rage heads. |

RE: Rage Broadheads
I bought the heads last weekend at Cablea's so I don't know how long these paticular heads were on the shelf.
I have a Tru Glod quiver on my bowtech that has about 1/2" holes in the foam. So I don't think it was a quiver doing it there isn't any foam per say "in contact" with the head. I can say "possibly" on the quick second shot. As I pulled it from my quiver, nocked it, drew, and fired. But I had plenty of time to sit in my blind and make sure everything was go good at "go time" with the first shot. I had 3 does, a fawn, 4 bucks and a coyote walk by all under 30 yards in that time. I pulled the 3rd head from my quiver later on that night and the O ring was broken. So I can only figure they came undone at some point. The first one was probably in flight the other may have been that way when I put it on the rest. For those of you that have them I would encourage you take one out and shoot it with the blades unlocked. It will fly like a paper airplane in a hurricane. I went back to Muzzy's now. |
