Way to go on the harvest. Lets us know what you find out about the leg. Earlier in the year I saw a doe limping pretty badly and was unable to get a shot. I'd rather have the meat than let the coyotes prosper.

Thats great. I may have dragged the deer out (especially in the snow)where you know the guy is going to see it eventually. But then again, maybe that would be an invite to more harassment next year.

David--since you aren't planning on keeping the deer (because of the infection), the body with a thank-you note in the appropriate place (where he'll find it)would be a nice gesture.
