I have a pipe feeder in the edge of the woods that I put corn in once in a while, mainly just for photos. Don't hunt near it, so I don't consider myself to be hunting with bait.

I don't, its illegal here, personally I like to hunt animals on there own terms and wouldnt use it if it was legal. To hunt over bait where its legal, thats a personal choice.

I have Bowhunted states where it is leagal (Deer) but do not. I don't use trail cams at home either but then, that's another story.
I just do it the old fashioned way-go out, find a trail & put up my stand & hope for the best. Well, not quite that simple but you get the idea. Sometimes I have to move my stand.
Oh, I HAVE Bowhunted Black Bears over bait & hogs by a feeder in Tx. & Ok..

No baiting here.. And it's illeagal! I do hunt next to a corn field though!!

Illegal in VA too -- new last year, it's illegal for ANYONE to feed deer from September through February (maybe October - January) -- doesn't include agricultural crops.

Some places I bait, some I don't. I haven't seen where it's easier over bait. Usually drives them nocturnal earlier and they eat it all at night.
JMO.

The places I do bait is for the kids in hopes they'll have better chances of seeing more deer. So far this hasn't worked and my best spot is during the hot weather down by the creek without bait. They go to water at all different times throughout the day.

I very rarely bait deer. I can't hear in my homestate. Illegal.

Even though it is legal where I hunt, I don't bait.

We can use food scents as lures here, which I do, but you can't leave food down where the game can get to it or it's a violation.
