Update on the elk. I have not got one yet. We had 85 degrees at 8,000 feet. I saw only a handful and got only one worked up. The weather has cooled and it has rained measurable amounts for the 1st time in months.

Reports have it the cooler weather has got them moving a little now and bugling more. I am headed in again this weekend,

For those wondering the antelope was shot over a waterhole. Lots of down time waiting, and waiting, and waiting. If you wait long enough, it will pay off big......... Good luck to everyone this upcoming season!!!!
