My wife was ribbing me in front of some friends who had received a bottle of Wild Turkey for Christmas about the fact that when it comes to alcohol, I drink beer almost exclusively. So I told her she was right! My New Years resolution is to drink more whiskey! That should make her happy.

Ahhhh pooo.... my life is over. I gave up drinking about 17 years ago. I was informed by Jack Daniels and Beefeaters I had drank my quota. I had only drank 3 times in my life. The first was for 10 years...... yada yada yada(drum roll/rim shot). I gave up chasing sweet young things when I got married... my wife told me I had had my quota. For Xmas I gave up smoking.... my doctor, Len my hunting buddy, my wife, my son, Lens son, Ok almost everyone.... told me I've had my quota. Besides that it was getting so if I wanted a smoke I had to go to Delaware to have one. The smoking lamp is out in Maryland. Now you expect me to give up something for New Years....... PHOEY. I'm puttin' my foot down. Any remaining vices I may have are mine. I'm keepin' them all. Don't even suggest I can be improved on or I'll field dress you.

my resolution is to get all my "around the house" stuff done before the season so the wife can't complain. I also resolve to get my first buck this year.
