Funny story
I thought you guys might get a kick out of this.
My sister lives in a suburb just outside the DC beltway. About three weeks ago her husband was jogging on a bike trail in the woods near their house with their dog. He's a Labradoodle very aptly named Cosmo. He's a large-ish wiry-haired, goofy-looking, friendly dogand when he gets excited he bounces straight up and downlike he has springs on his feet.
Anyways,Cosmo saw afawnthat still had somespots on itand ran up to it, wanting to play. There was no mother deer in sight. The fawn just stood there and the two of them were smelling each other and making friends. My brother-in-law finally got tired of waiting for them and continued jogging, and Cosmo left the deer to follow him.
I was amazed that the little deer had no natural fear of a large dog.

RE: Funny story
i was walking out for a night of scouting and jumped a 2 does and a fawn, he fawn ryns right for my house. I go to my house and find it there. This fawn had no fear of me and let me pet it. This might of been bad but it has survived since. I dont think i can shoot a fawn after that moment.
