I was wondering who uses baking soda for scent control, and how do you use it? I put a little in my boots and I keep some in my rubber maid box with my hunting stuff. I also put some in an ole sock and I will dust myself off with it before I go hunting. I thiought about before i go hunting to brush my teeth with it and take a bath with it, what do you guys think?

I have used it alot in the past, especially in my boots. I take a small box of it with me on hunts. I also leave 3-4 open boxes of it in my cache when I burry it for the year. It helps with scent, mold/mildew, and also with moisture.
I hope you don't brush your teeth with the same soda that came from your boots!!!! ;0)

Baking soda is a great tool, but one thing that some people don't realize is that baking soda absorbs the odor. It doesn't "kill" it. So, if you use it to wash your clothes, make sure you rinse them good. I usually wash them in baking soda, then rinse them twice.
