I'd say I use one and a half. lol I squint my left eye and look through my peep and at my sights through my other eye. In my head the picture basically looks to me like the whole deer, even outside my sights, but the only clear to see spot on the deer is where my sights are, but I see a hazy outline of the deer around it. If that makes any sense...

One eye . I would love to shoot with both open but i am right handed and left eye dominate so it makes it hard to do

I tried both eyes open and i can shoot it good at 10 and 20 yards but not 30. Its tough though...it doesnt seem like you need a peep for it.

it turns out im left eye dominat and right hand dominant.
then it would probably work best for you shooting right eye open and left closed.

stay with it and give it an honest chance. i recently switched not too long ago. i love it much better than shooting only one eye open. it seems i can hold steadier and i group very good all the way out to 50 yards. your dominant eye should look through the peep while your other eye focuses on the target. personally i really never look directly at my pins, i line my peep up and stare at the target. i can just see a blurred vision of my pins on the target.

i am not neccessarily saying this is the only way to shoot both eyes open, but this is what works best for me. i also like the added field of view along with being able to see exactly where my arrow is hitting.

Good Luck,
Nick
