My bowhunting brothers and sisters....

This isn't really a "bowhunting" related topic, but since this is where I hang out and know most of the locals I figured I would post this here. If one of the mods wants to move it Off Season, feel free. Just don't expect to be able to log in tomorrow. :D

Anywho, I was gone last week in Alaska on a cruise (which was amazing by the way) and decided it would be a good idea to pop the question. She said yes (well, who wouldn't? :D) and now I get to divert funds from the hunting account to the wedding account. Hurrah!

At least she'll be busy all fall planning the wedding while I'm hunting. ;)

Fool! No just kidding J, married men want all single men to be as miserable as we are...j/k again. Congrats, with a good woman beside him, there is nothing a man can't do. Just remember, plan your wedding date carefully, it's not just one day, it's anniversaries forever too.:D

Boy, how mistaken you are! She'll want you to go and look at churches, flower shops, bakers for the cake, photographers, videographers, etc. You'll be lucky if you have any time to even sleep let alone go hunting this fall. You might as well drop out of the competition right now!:Dj/k Congratulations and Good Luck. Like someone else said, pick the wedding date wisely. Somewhere in between turkey season and deer season would be good.

Congrats Justin,

You sure are youthful looking, at least younger than I was expecting the man behind the curtain to be. [8D]

Congrats Justin. I will offer you one line of advice and one line only. I have practiced this for 18 years of marriage and it saves a lot of time and heartache. "Never, ever, ever, go to bed mad/upset/angry at one another". You will never regret taking this piece of advice to heart.

Again, congrats and as Rob(genius) stated, Plan the wedding/anniversary date carefully.

Dude, you change women like I change my underwear - about every two weeks! :D Looking forward to hooking up with you guys in Saturday, I'll make sure to bring a few beers!

And thanks for the well wishes everyone. We've got a year to plan (and more importantly to save money!) so hopefully we get everything just the way we want it. Probably tie the knot sometime next August/September. In the meantime, I need to focus on getting ready for the hunting season! hehe

Congrats bud!
Geez and she has to be pretty too, now I can't make fun of you. :(

Remember like Rob said, for the love of God do not pick October or November, you will hate yourself, your friends will hate you.........everyone will hate you.:D You have to live with that date forever.
(I should know, Memorial day weekend anniversary pretty much wiped out an annual fly fishing trip.Learn from the stupid among you;))

Way to go Justin, She's a cutie. Hey, I don't remember seeing her at the Get Together in June. Didn't want her socializing with the likes of us, HUH?

What date do I have to reserve for the wedding?:D
