RE: Guardian limbs breaking????
both pro shops that I deal with sale Bowtech, Mathews, and Hoyt. Last year when I was having limb issues with my allegiance I asked both pro shops if they where having any issues with any of the bowtech limbs and both shop owners told me the exact same thing. Every company out there hasproblems with limbs breaking at one time or another for whatever reason, but they both said they have less issues with Bowtech than they do with Hoyt and Mathews.

RE: Guardian limbs breaking????
Who cares if ther have been a guardian or two that have had broken limbs. All bow manufacturers have had and will continue to have broken limbs. It's just the way it goes.

RE: Guardian limbs breaking????
I have been bowhunting for over 20 years and have never had a limb break on any bow that I have owned except on my mathews when a buss cable loop broke at almost full draw causing it to dry fire.I believe most limb breaks are brought on by people trying to shoot too light a setup and get all the speed they can,if you shoot a good weight hunting arrow you would probably not ever here of hardly any limb breakage.

RE: Guardian limbs breaking????
Even if there was one, do you realize how many Guardians Bowtech has sold this year? And what the failure rate would be -- even if there 50? Or 500? I'm not saying anyone wants even one, let alone 50 or 500... But, trust me... ANY company would be extremely proud to have the failure rate that that would figure out to be based on the astronomical sales numbers the paradigm-shifting Guardian generated this year.

RE: Guardian limbs breaking????
ORIGINAL: The Rev ORIGINAL: rankbull Is it still a bow shop if they don’t sell bowtech?:D As to limbs breaking, haven't heard about it on the Guardian. There have been several cases of BT limbs breaking on many other models though. It always seems to be in the same place. However, their warranty is good, and they will send you new limbs pretty much no questions asked. It is a bit of a turn off for some folks, and I know of at least one shooting buddy of mine who is now shooting (God help him) a PSE instead of his beloved Tribute (he was on his second and going onto his third set of limbs in 18 months... he does kind of have a right to be mad). Any bow, of any make is prone to some sort of failure. Often its user induced (believe it or not!), but sometimes there really is a flaw. However, if a big company plans to stay in business in todays market, they will make good on it, and correct it. |
