Default After The Shot

Ok I got to do something to pass the time with 26 days to the start of the season[:@]. So I am trying to prepare all my gear, one thing I am doing this year is creating a "after the shot" bag.

In the bag I am placing:
-Flashlights (a Surefire G2, a Mag light, and a head lamp)
-Gerber EZ saw
-2 knifes
-A deer drag
-laytex gloves
-A cloth towel
-A garbage bag
-Marker flags and surveying tape
-On hot days I will use the HS game keeper spray

I am thinking about trying the HS Butt- out. Is there anything I am missing for my pack?

Sounds like you've got it covered. Maybe include some peroxide in a spray bottle for those tiny spots. It really makes blood show up well.

Sounds like you got all your bases covered. The longer I hunt the less I want to carry. I have a long thin knife, a cheap plastic disposable razor knife. Flashlight and a drag are also in my pack. I don't worry about deer blood on me and the dry leaves and dirt work good to clean up with. This is all with my rattle antlers, grunt tube, can call and binoculars. I think that is all I have with me when I hunt.

I think I will add some bandages and some disinfectant (just in case I cut myself). The pack is not that heavy or bulky. I just get sick of digging around to find all the things before I head out. Oh and extra batteries.
