I took mybuck off the ground last year. I was pumped up, shot him at about 12 yards. I had 3 smaller bucksbrowsing around me before he came out. I wasn't using a blind either just natural cover.

I whacked one out of a ground blind last year...It's a blast! Being eye level w/ them at 10 yards is incredible.

I took a buck 2 seasons ago while hunting on the ground - it was a HUGE rush!

I was sitting in a cut corn field at the time and I swear the sound of my heart beating out of my throat was louder than the buck's hoof steps through the dried stalks!

Deer from the ground are fun, but a bear from a blind is a rush.;)

I've taken 5-6 deer from the ground with stick and string. It's a rush.

I missed the biggest buck i have ever shot at. It was a big 9, i was on the ground in a blind i made out of brush. It was a huge rush (thats why I missed[&o])

Ive taken a few from the ground. Definately fun especially with a longbow or recurve but would not try it if I were going after a trophy buck. I get a big enough rush from a tree stand and after 26 years of bowhunting I think my chances are greatly increased from a tree stand.
