Look at this shot at 35 yards!
This is proabably the best shot I ever made. I was aiming directly for the eye and I hit it!Sorry for the bad picture but i had to use my trail camera

Yeah they are hard to pull out..I've done that. I also have shot the horns off..told my son watch this I'm rack hunting. I too get bored just drilling the boiler room.

Question:
Why are you even aiming at the eye?I really hope it was just because you were boared.
I'd rather see a perfect heart shot. Harder target to aim for and hit.

We do this kind of stuff at the indoor range, sometimes.....just to mix it up a little.....especially on shots where the deer's head is looking away.....to add angle to the shot.
No big deal......means nothing. Good shooting.

I would take a wild guess and say it's because this is a target and that black eye is just so inviting. I've done that many times myself simply beause it IS a small aim point... and I've won more than a few cold ones off my shootin' buddies with that shot.

I was aiming at the eye because I was bored. I was hitting the vital area so much on my target that it was just getting old. I was proud of myself cuz the arrow actually went where I wanted it anddoesnt happen very often that good.
